Her professional experiences include performing in Bogota Columbia and performing on a 3 city tour throughout Santiago Chile as well as Buenos Aires Argentina. she performed the leading role of “Sister Carrie” in the Longest running Off-Broadway play in New York City: Mama I Want To Sing. She has performed with famous recording artists such as Whitney Houston Jennifer Holiday Cuba Gooding And The Main Ingredient Experience, The Mighty Sparrow, and Byron Lee & The Dragoneers.
Yvette KoKoa also recorded for the Major Movie Soundtrack; “Something Wild” (Orion Pictures). She recorded the 12” Hit Singles; “Makes Me Holler” with Project X Records, and “Peaceful Journey” with Swank Records. Miss KoKoa also performed with the Motown Girl Group, The Marvelettes. She has performed in musicals such as: "Angel In The Mirror", "Purlie", "South Pacific", "Ain’t Nobody’s Bizness If I Do", and "Just Call His Name" by Positive Entertainment Productions.  Yvette KoKoa also gave Up and Close intimate performances at various New York super clubs such as; Billie’s Black, BB King, Café Oasis, Sweet Waters, Creole, Dinosaur BBQ, The Shrine, Harlem Nights, Colors, The Village Gate, Café Wha?, The Village Underground, Nells, La Barbat, The Sugar Bar, Lola’s, The Lenox Lounge, Honeysuckles West, Wilson’s, Sylvia’s, The China Club, Don’t Tell Mamma, Mo’bay, Gospel Uptown, Baton Rouge, Lenox Lounge, and the list goes on and on.
